At the meeting of the leadership of Brüder der Ritterschaft Christi von Livland MTÜ, a decision was made regarding the organization’s symbolism. The coat of arms consists of a white shield with a black Teutonic cross placed in the center, and on the left side, a red star and a red sword, representing the Order of the Sword Brothers. Thus, the Livonian Order demonstrates its cultural and historical right to continue the traditions initiated by the Order of the Sword Brothers / Fratres militiæ Christi de Livonia / Schwertbrüderorden, and later reorganized into the Livonian commandery of the Teutonic Order, more commonly known as the Livonian Order / Fratres militiæ Christi de Livonia / Brüder der Ritterschaft Christi von Livland.
A variation of the new coat of arms may include a different scale of the star and sword in relation to the cross, and their placement only on the white fields. Both versions have the right to be used as the symbol of Brüder der Ritterschaft Christi von Livland MTÜ.
